an independent, mobile, fine jewelry appraisal company, specializing in evaluations for insurance, estate tax settlement, and equitable distribution. With this new endeavor, I will combine over ten years of extensive experience as a graduate gemologist, metalsmith, appraiser and auction specialist. My mobile, state-of-the-art, gemological laboratory allows me to provide detailed, accurate evaluations while ensuring a secure, discreet and convenient client experience.
Location of Inspection
Gemological items are always evaluated in your presence at your home, office and/or bank vault.
I bring to each assignment a unique set of skills and knowledge. In addition to earning the Graduate Gemologist degree in residence at the Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad, CA, I received the prestigious Certified Gemologist Appraiser designation from the American Gem Society. For the past two years, I honed my skills in antique, vintage jewelry and timepieces as the Director of Fine Jewelry and Timepieces at the country’s fifth largest auction house. Also, I am the Field Museum's content specialist for the collections and research department.
All appraisals are completed on site with my mobile traveling laboratory. Each report includes professional, comprehensive documentation with photographs and plot diagrams as applicable. Appraisals are available for Insurance, estate tax settlement and equitable distribution.
